AJ Green. But I doubt he'll be there when the Skins pick.

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

I don't know what game he is playing here, but I think he just used up about 95% of the good will and benefit of the doubt he has cultivated. If the Redskins go into a tail spin because of this, look out.

As I suggested earlier in the thread, the Redskins dominates a huge press in a the most powerful city in the world. Politicians don't face the scrutiny Redskins coaches do. Seriously. I think coach bit off more than he could chew with this one. Hope I'm wrong.

He legitimately doesn't seem to care who has what opinion about his decisions. Should be interesting to see what happens from here. Bring on Randy Moss!

So Shanny benches McNabb for Grossman in the last game and decides he's their QB for the future and the Redskins give him a huge deal. 5 years? 78 million with more than half guaranteed?

Does anyone else think this has the familiar ring of the the coach/front office being on one page and the owner on another?

Horrible move. When has Grossman looked good?

Any way you cut it, that deal McNabb got is just horrible.

What would make it even more awesome if there is truth to the rumors that Shanny reached out to Dallas and he ends up there and the Skins are saddled with Donovan.

Sorry I re-read my post. McNabb got the huge deal after getting benched for Grossman. Not Grossman getting the big deal.

Both teams have meddlesome owners, but Jones doesn't seem to be as big of a dumbass as Daniel Snyder. The Cowboys haven't won a playoff game for something like 12 years, but they've at least been interesting and relevant for some stretches in between. I'm also don't think that Jones has been as much of a problem for the Cowboys as Snyder has been for the Skins. Jones isn't going out and signing every free agent to bloated contracts.

Jones also wasn't the one who fumbled the snap.

I think Jones needs to aim higher -- like Bill Cowher. Who's the bigger catch between Shanahan and Gruden?
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

Wow! Vick launches a missile on the first play of the game and hits Desean Jackson for an 88 yard touchdown. Shanahan looks shocked.

He's got his QB, now he needs to go draft a Defense, and an offensiveline, and WRs, and a RB, and by the time he does all that, McNabb will be 37.

Talk about taking the drama out of the night early.
                            Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

The Eagles with a chance to go up 21-0 and we are not even 5 minutes in to the game.

Vick really is starting to look like the QB before the whole dog fighting incidents. He is a good starting QB again. I'm glad that things have worked out well for Vick. I'm also glad that the Falcons have Matt Ryan instead of Vick.
