Apparently the McNabb deal was done a long time ago, and essentially gives him 10 Million upfront. So, not necessarily as bad as first thought."They're good. They've always been good" - David Shaw.
Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

I am glad Vick is making a great comeback. He is giving the middle finger to all the nay-sayers from the beginning of the season. It is awesome.
And to Shanahan, enjoy your $40 million dollar has been......

I went with Joe Flacco over Vick this week, well mainly because I forgot to change my lineup before Thursday and started Flacco by default. I won so it doesn't matter, but it would have been nice to have Vick's insane night. As I lead this army, make room for mistakes and depression

It actually wasn't too bad. Everyone aknowledged that it was embarassing.Originally posted by Surfah View PostI am looking forward to the drive into work tomorrow. The morning show guys are going to be in full meltdown mode. It's going to be awesome.
Loved Desean Jackson's quote: "we were ready to go out there like pitbulls out of a cage."

The offense scored 28 points last night and didn't ever give up. I can fault McNabb for his picks, but I'm not unhappy with McNabb or the offense from last night. It is the defense that got completely embarrassed.Originally posted by DrumNFeather View PostIt actually wasn't too bad. Everyone aknowledged that it was embarassing.

I was saying to Drum before the game yesterday, this offense is not good and is only very marginally improved from last year. The offensive line is not much better at all. We have already matched our win total from last year and I think credit for that goes directly to McNabb and Deangelo Hall, who won at least one game all by himself. The Skins with this new deal are obviously not holding McNabb's less than stellar performance against him and have decided to spend the next few years putting pieces around him. That will not happen over night.
The more I look at this Redskins team, the more I realize how old it is and how little real talent there is on either side of the ball. This disaster was made over a decade, I think it will take at least four and maybe five years to really upgrade the talent level on the roster top to bottom.
One last interesting thing they were saying this morning is that John Jansen (Skins fans will know who that is) said on his radio show in Detroit in the last couple of days that the main problem with Trent Williams is that he takes plays off. He said that talent wise a guy like Vanden Bosch should never beat Williams, but that Vanden Bosch comes hard every single play and that is why Williams got whipped by him. This was the knock on him coming out of college.

I expect the Skins to go after Logan Mangkins from NE (assuming he's not franchised) and Vincent Jackson in Free Agency which will help upgrade the talent a bit.Originally posted by UtahDan View PostThe offense scored 28 points last night and didn't ever give up.
