Your boys are smart kids. Visiting every major league ballpark is definitely on my bucket list.

Hit up Camden Yards in Baltimore while you are out there. You won't regret it.

That'll have to be another trip. Mix in the Nats and DC.

Giants having Sanchez pitch game 2 and Cain game 3. I'll be attending game 3 and went to the last two games pitched by Cain and they lost, so I'm a little worried. Also of note, the game is at 1PM pst because fox doesn't want to move Glee.

Overall, I like the move, Sanchez is a strikeout pitcher and Cain isn't, so it makes sense. Sanchez went 8+ innings in Philly in August and shut them down, so I think it'll be a great series. Giants roughed up Halladay at AT&T earlier in the year too. Everyone is expecting the Phillies to roll, so I like being the underdog. Pains me to say that it'll be Phils v. Yankees again, but an SF/NY matchup would be cool.

Just watched some of Baseball Tonight on ESPN. WTF happened to Curt Schilling? Dude looks like me. He was never exactly skinny, but he's really let himself go. He looks terrible.

Kruk was always a fat guy. His story about telling the lady that he's not an athlete, he's a baseball player is one of my favorites. Schilling looks like he's put on 75 pounds since retirement.

He's just positioning himself for the Nutrisystem endorsement.

It will be a commercial where Schilling can barely throw a ball and Kruk can barely swing a bat and after they collectively lose 150 pounds they suddenly look like they are ready for MLB contracts.

As much as I don't enjoy saying this, GO PHILLIES. I'm going to have to root against the Giants until those bastards give us San Jose.

Wow, looked like the Rangers had this one in the bag -- now they're going to be behind here in a few more minutes in the 8th inning.

That was a pretty epic choke by the Rangers. Yanks/Giants WS.

That was unbelievable. I forgot the game was on and flipped over and it was 5-0. So I started watching something else. Flip back and the Yankees are going nuts with their rally in the 8th.

I thought Wood might give it right back to the Rangers but that pick off killed any momentum. And how do you get picked off by Wood like that?

We got home from dinner right as the Yankees had the bases loaded in the 8th with 0 outs, so I didn't have to watch all the other boring parts. I suspect it was a really boring game as one CUFer texted me that he had switched over to a show explaining how to make haggis.

I hope I picked the right hat to wear. Halladay looks on it tonight. There are a couple of alternates nearby, in case I need to switch it up. Started with the 59Fifty.
