I super enjoyed the win. I celebrated with my child. I the made celebration American (German remamed) pancakes to celebrate for my son and stepchildren. I told this to my stepdaughter and she told me I’d have made them even if they lost. She is right, contrary to what people think, I’m a big softie. It's the take of someone who doesn't truly know hockey. USA had a great first period, while Canada won periods two and three. However, the USA had a 5-on-3 penalty kill that showed their grit. While I'm not a fan of 3-3 or sudden death, the USA did what they had to do to secure victory.
