I’m so annoyed at Bill Guerin. This year was there for the taking and he screwed it up. With a to of snipers and puck possession we could have destroyed Binnington.

Seriously, eff Canada. That being said, the way the men's Canadian team plays hockey is the way it should be played. Aggressive puck possession hockey. The way the USA hockey plays is boring and less effective.
Canada might still lose this came, but it is 100% a goalie thing if they do. Sauros has been lights out and Binnington sucks.As I lead this army, make room for mistakes and depression

Seriously, a power play where you have Celebrini, MacKinnon, McDavid, Makar on the ice is just unfair. Hopefully they were offsides. If not, this is what will happen in the gold medal game:
95% chance that Binnington gives up a soft goal and the United States tries to nurse a 1 or 2 goal lead. Canada puts intense pressure on them all game and Hellebuyck plays great. Eventually though the onslaught is too much and Canada takes the lead.
5% chance that Binnington gives up a 3-4 soft goals and the USA wins.As I lead this army, make room for mistakes and depression

Also, it didn't have to be this way. The USA has the firepower. Not as much as Canada, but enough. The USA also has the better blueline and goaltending to make up that gap with forwards. He isn't there. He should be there, but I get why he didn't make the first cut. He should have 100% been an injury replacement. Eff Canada.
