After this game tonight Puka's peccadillo should be conveniently forgotten. He's had a monster game.

He had a great game. Post game he tweeted and then promptly deleted that the refs rigged the game. This, after he stated earlier in the week that the refs make it about them. I’m not saying you can’t think that. Refs often suck. But when you are trying to make amends for something potentially culturally insensitive, maybe don’t go right back out and tweet things that are going to bring fines from the League.Originally posted by Northwestcoug View PostAfter this game tonight Puka's peccadillo should be conveniently forgotten. His agent definitely needs to renegotiate his deal this offseason. He’s a top 3 WR in the NfL and he’s making basically the veteran’s minimum. I do wonder how tens of millions will affect him, though I hope he stays grounded.

I hope so too. He has a decent amount of good will built up, and his luscious locks and good looks help. I hope he doesn't continue in the path of most WR superstars.Originally posted by Donuthole View PostHe had a great game. Post game he tweeted and then promptly deleted that the refs rigged the game. I'm not saying Montgomery Burns hasn't ever wrung his hands, but his signature move is more finger steepling than hand wringing. I don't believe finger steepling is inherently cultural, FWIW. Now you know.Originally posted by BigFatMeanie View PostI legitimately thought the hand-wringing thing was mimicking Montgomery Burns, one of my favorite Simpsons characters. From what I understand, the podcaster told Nacua the dance was called 'the greedy Jew".Originally posted by BigFatMeanie View PostI legitimately thought the hand-wringing thing was mimicking Montgomery Burns, one of my favorite Simpsons characters. Can't help you there. Just adding that context in case people thought the hand-wringing was woke nonsense.Originally posted by BigFatMeanie View Post

Hmm, interesting. I always assumed it was just wringing and never stopped to consider the nuance between wringing and steepling. I’m going to have to ponder on that for a while…Originally posted by Donuthole View Post

I believe wringing implies nervousness. Steepling implies evil calculating.Originally posted by BigFatMeanie View Post

Not well liked? Thinking the credit for his success belongs primarily to Tom Brady? His tenure at North Carolina tarnishing his career?Originally posted by SteelBlue View PostApparently Bill Belichick did not get the required votes to be a first ballot Hall of Famer.
