Toronto fans can't really be enjoying life right now. They force Marner out because of his struggles in the playoffs, and now he is playing great in the playoffs. Not only has the offense been there, he continues his excellent defensive play.

They have an absolutely absurd hire at GM.

Sure they win the lottery and get the top pick, but there is nothing close to a consensus top pick this year. Go back to the 2023 NHL Draft. Best case scenario for McKenna is probably a Mitch Marner that sucks as defense.

It is true that it is highly unlikely the Q-Stache could do anything that would further tarnish his career.

Fantastic coach, but I'm still surprised he got a job after he was reinstated. Even more shocking is Bowman getting a job. He sucks as a GM. At least with the Q-Stache you get someone good at your job.
