I just want them to get the rest of the playoffs done quick. Need to get to the offseason and draft season. The Knights are really doing a great job this playoffs of turning themselves into the premier cartoonish super villain in the NHL. Tampering with Mitch Marner, refusing to allow teams to talk to Cassidy with some stupid excuse of focusing on the playoffs (wonder what the excuse will be when the playoffs are over), the media stuff, stomping on the corpse of the Avs. It is a lot of fun.Originally posted by falafel View Post

Canes are going to finally break through. Habs are cooked.
It is one thing to be a team that relies on counter-punches like the Habs do, but you actually need to be able to throw a couple here and there. 27 high danger chances 5v5 in 4 games when you play that style isn't going to cut it. 8 of those high danger chances were in the first period of game 1 when the Canes were shaking off the rust. Series likely ends tomorrow.

After game 1, I am really leaning towards that Vegas wins this series. While Vegas isn't on the same level of puck possession and shot suppression as Carolina, they aren't that far behind. When you then factor in that Vegas has Marner, Eichel, and Stone, I think the stars are going to push this series in their favor. Canes are also still getting no production from their top line. If we have another game where the Aho line doesn't produce, I think it is a sure sign this series is going to be over in 5 or 6 games.As I lead this army, make room for mistakes and depression
