Definitely has been fun. It’ll be even better if the dodgers lose.

Great game with a terrible last call. What a letdown.

I'm tired of discussing tax policy. I'm loving this hit parade from the Sox tonight!!!

This is destined to be a classic meltdown.

7 runs in the ninth. I had to get up at 4:30 so I turned it off right after the middle of the 8th

Mrs. NWC and my SIL went to that game. They were having a great time until the ninth (despite all the runners left on base ). Just a huge let down. It feels like Houston has all the momentum. I hope they rebound tonight.

The Dodgers-Braves series has been great. For some reason, I didn't know that MLB did the same idiotic playoff homefield advantage crap as the NFL-- i.e. screwing over outstanding wildcard with the second best record in the entire league because they happen to be in the division with the team with the best record. The Dodgers won 18 more games than the Braves and they also had to play the Giants in the first round. The NLCS should/could have been Giants vs. Dodgers. The Giants won 107 games only to have to play a team who won 106 games in the first round of the playoffs -- totally stupid.

Of course, the Braves are amply showing they belong -- but MLB needs to reward teams more who have the best regular season records.
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

One grand truth in life is that if there is something the MLB should do right, they will instead do wrong.

                        there will be no rebound.

This is so embarrassing. Fans are chanting ‘Yankees suck’ during the post game show. Come. On.

The Yankees are their daddy indeed.

I am so depressed. I did not get to watch last night as I was in a meeting, but did not expect that score. Freaking Houston.

At least it is not looking like it will be a Dodgers/Astros World Series. That would be unbearable to watch because hard to know which team I would like to see lose more ha ha. I dare not hope the Red Sox can regain momentum and win the last two games.

I know the Sox weren’t supposed to get to the ALCS, so it was a bonus to make the first 3 games interesting. But the last 3 we’re just a colossal meltdown. I wish they would have saved half the hits from games 2-3 for the last 3.

oh well. As Mrs. NWC chanted at Fenway on Tuesday, ‘eff Altuve!’
