    2021 MLB playoffs

    I have some motivation to start this thread after Boston got a solid win over the Yankees tonight. After watching them lose most of the winnable last 10 games, I had no faith in them winning this game. But pitching and defense saved them. And now, they can go into Tampa Bay and...lose in 5. Probably.

    As usual, I'm completely ignorant about the NL. Crazy that Dodgers win so many games and could get eliminated tomorrow. I don't think it'll happen, but people here are starting to make me believe Dave Roberts is a terrible manager in the playoffs. They look solid, as well as Tampa Bay and Houston.

    I'll go out on a limb and say Dodgers and Tampa Bay for the WS. With Dodgers winning in 6. C'mon Dave Roberts, you can do it!

    Should be an interesting month.

            Win 106 games (2nd best in all of baseball) and have it come down to a single wildcard play in game. Baseball is dumb.

                15 or so years ago they wouldn’t even be in the playoffs. Baseball is less dumb now than it was back then.

                        Wainwright struggling mightily through the the third. Dodgers load the bases with one out, and they can't score. Getting a little nervous in LA...

                            Good game so far. Chances on both sides and still 1-1. I’m hoping it doesn’t go extra innings since I have to teach seminary tomorrow.
