Well well well. I bet Goodell suspends him for a season if not more..
You left out a few details though:

Commonwealth's Attorney Harvey L. Bryant told The Associated Press Wednesday night in a telephone interview that Vick was not involved in the shooting and that he left the nightclub "in the 3- to 5-minute range" before it occurred.

Bryant would not go into detail about the confrontation, but said there was no evidence the Philadelphia Eagles quarterback was involved in "anything that would amount to aggressive or assaultive conduct."

"He's an athlete and an entertainer, but he's also a human being, and things that would tick you and I off would tick him off," Bryant said. "But he extricated himself from those things and left with the help and encouragement of some of his friends and supporters."

Police have said Vick was not the shooter. Bryant said the investigation also shows that Vick "was not aware of whether or not anyone was going to be shot, was threatened to be shot or anything to do with any of that business."

"He has sat down with Virginia Beach detectives and answered all their questions and, in our view, has been cooperative ... and I should say
      cooperative and truthful," Bryant said.

Considering how prosecutors act these days when they see that they can get their name in the news going after a big star, I think this says volumes:

Or maybe he's just an Eagles fan. But then again, I think Vick got railroaded for the whole dog fighting deal and the punishment didn't match the crime.

          To All:

I tend to think Goodell is not going to just have a sit down.. He's been lied to before, and he seems to have a short leash for such behavior..

            I absolutely agree with this.

If it were just Vick saying those things I would believe it. But given that prosecutors, police, restaurant owners, essentially EVERYBODY associated with the incident and investigation is clearing Vick, you almost have to give him the benefit of the doubt.

Vick's word should mean absolutely nothing to Goodell. A sit down with Vick is a waste of time, because Vick has no credibility. That being said there is no way in hell that Vick should be suspended or deserves to be suspended. You can't suspend someone for being an idiot and that is the only thing that Vick is guilty of with this incident.

Vick will not be disciplined. The NFL made the right decision on this one.

Vick is now the Eagles full-time starter. Kobb got two quarters to prove his worth and he is now the back up. I will say this, I believe Andy Reid is laying the groundwork to either be fired or let go at the end of the season. I'm just not sure Vick can keep up this level of play. He's not going to get Detroit every week.

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

I completely disagree with this. Will he play as well as he did against Detroit every week? No but I think he will play >= whatever Kobb would bring.

You guys realize it is Kolb but pronounced Kobb.

With that being said Andy Reid said the only reason Vick is starting is due to the fact that they have a beat up offensive line and they need his legs back there. He was sacked 6 times last week and I am guessing Kolb would have been sacked about 12.

I think he could certainly play well vs. Jacksonville, but we're talking about these guys getting rid of McNabb for Kolb and to essentially give up on him after two quarters is just stunning to me.

Vick may give them the best chance to win right now, but I think we'll see DCs start bottling him up again like they did when he was in Atlanta...and I'm hoping to see that week 4 when he plays Washington.

I know they have a banged up line and what not, but there is no way they would've gotten rid of McNabb had they known Vick was gonna be their long time starter, not a chance. Reid is gearing up to go down with the ship.
