Washington has not had the best of luck in these things, so that is possible. I have a feeling the Hornets or Sixers could somehow land in the top 3.

I meant that I think someone between Washington and Utah jumps up into the top 3. And then someone below the Jazz moves up also into that top 3. I guess they'd get bumped two spots. Probably Philly and New Orleans.

Ok, so someone here describe the game of Daniel Orton and please don't just tell me his meager stats because I've looked them up. What I'm looking for is insight into why he's predicted so high based on those stats. (I've not seen him play that I recall)

FWIW, if the Jazz do fall I'd like to know if he's in the Jaron Collins mode so as a Jazz fan I can begin cutting myself early this year.

All I know is what I've read. Here's what Ford says:

In Chad Ford's first mock draft, Orton went No. 11 to New Orleans: Orton barely made a dent in the box score for Kentucky, but NBA scouts are convinced he could be a really good NBA center. He is strong and physical, and can dominate on the defensive end.

He needs to improve his offense, but if he does, he could be a star down the road. The Hornets were very thin up front all season. Orton also would give them some insurance in the event Emeka Okafor breaks down.

All I know is what I've read. Here's what Ford says:

He was stuck behind Cousins who is most likely a top 5 pick. A lot of people think if Orton had stayed he could have been a 16 and 10 guy next year.

I am not convinced but we will see.
