Umps apparently hate Harper too. The walkoff homer will cover up the fact that in the bottom of the ninth in a tied game, the dude ran his mouth from the dugout on a teammate's called strike three and got run from the game.

I'm sure the emphatic "F*&! YOU!" to the ump during the victory celebration will earn him some leeway at the dish.

Very vulgar and immature. When people ask if he is mormon, the response should be, yes, but he is inactive and he didn't go to BYU.

        The ump had it coming!

Watching a Nats game is usually a lesson in how to argue and not to argue strike calls. Harper and others get pretty worked up about bad calls. Guys like Daniel Murphy go back and calmly ask about the strike zone and have a dialogue with the ump.

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

That's unnecessary; no one is under the impression that he's a cougar.

Bryce Harper is an American treasure, and if you don't like him you can choice word yourself.

That ump was dumb. He went looking for trouble and tossed Harper out of the dugout when the entire Nationals team was standing on the railing chirping at the ump. Harper was actually sitting on the bench behind coaches when the ump chose to toss Harper.

He was standing and yelled at the ump. The strike was a good call; the ejection was stupid, but it's the sort of attention Harper attracts because he's an asshole.

I'm not convinced Harper is an asshole in general. He does asshole things - we all do - but I've seen and heard about some pretty good things he's done too. He's still young, maybe he'll convince me at some point.

Who cares if he is an asshole? Dude is legit. Many greats are assholes. It is part of what drives them to being what they are. It would appear that he doesn't have off the field issues, is a decent teammate, and plays the game with intensity and passion. I like Harper and hope he continues to improve.

I'll clarify: Bryce Harper is an asshole on the field. I'm not a Nats fan; nor am I an "old school" baseball guy. I do think his reputation hurts his team, which is reason enough to avoid dropping f-bombs on an ump after your teammate just bailed you out with a walk-off homer.

I thought it was cool that Harper was able to get married in the temple. After his next FA contract, we may get City Center East

I didn't know you could get married in the Temple if you have a beard.

I've gotta hand it too him, with that much money at such a young age there is no way I could ever hope to get inside that big white building.

Also I think I would have dating the two on the ends before limiting myself.

Medical card allowed him to do that.
