Hell yeah. Buffalo wanted tebow, that's good enough for me. McDaniels is my co-pilot.Originally posted by BoylenOver View PostIt's just me and landpoke left, then. There's no such thing as luck, only drunken invincibility. Make it happen.

Jerry Hughes gets to play in the same defensive system where Dwight Freeney flourished.Originally posted by Surfah View PostEffing fantastic pick by the Colts.

Why isn't there more of a premium paid for guys like Bill Polian? Think about the tens of millions of dollars Daniel Snyder has sunk into guys like Albert Haynesworth. Throw some money Polian's way and let him do whatever he wants with your team. At a minimum, Indy gets a solid starter at the end of the first round and they frequently get someone better than that.Originally posted by BoylenOver View PostJerry Hughes gets to play in the same defensive system where Dwight Freeney flourished.
That's almost unfair.Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

Indy has been genius in the draft the last few years. Hughes is a major stud as we all know, and after the collie steal in the draft last year... Well, It sure seems that Indy is paying attention to our little conference.
I hope Hughes becomes a major player.

Tim Tebow releases statement to Denver Broncos fans:
To the fans of the Denver Broncos, I’m sorry. I’m extremely sorry.
You were hoping for someone good to be drafted. That was the goal, something Denver has never done here.
I promise you one thing, a lot of good will come out of this. You will never see any player in the entire country play as hard as I will play the rest of the season. You will never see someone push the rest of the team as hard as I will push everybody the rest of the season. You will never see a team play harder than we will the rest of the season.
God bless.Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

Jerry Hughes seems to be pretty can't miss. Especially backing up and learning from Mathis and Freeney.Originally posted by OrangeUte View PostIndy has been genius in the draft the last few years. I think the Colts, Jets and possibly the Cowboys made the best picks of the first round. I can't get over the Jets defense next year. Who is going to dare pass on them? Wilson, Cromartie, Revis? That is sick."Nobody listens to Turtle."-Turtlesigpic

I wonder what the guys in the Rams front office are thinking right now. "You mean we could have had Suh and Jimmy Clausen?" I'm shocked that the NFL seems to have shrugged off something like a shoulder injury in a QB. Bradford has Drew Brees to thank for making him tens of millions of dollars.
There's no way the Rams could have known that Clausen would still be there at the beginning of round 2, but Colt McCoy was certainly a very strong possibility to be there. This kind of reminds me of what the Chargers did back in 2001 only in reverse. The Chargers traded back with Atlanta for a few picks. Atlanta gets Michael Vick and the Chargers settle for LaDainian Tomlinson. Then early in the second they pick Drew Brees (how's that for a draft?).
The Rams have a ton of needs and they're picking high in a loaded draft. Why not go for the surefire home run with Suh and settle on one of the other QBs high in the 2nd round?Part of it is based on academic grounds.
