He looked pretty bad last night. It's only ok to be a "gunslinger" when you make more big plays than INTs.

They interviewed Alex Smith after the game and he said that it was nice to be on the other end of a 5 INT performance.

Pissed me off is what Jay Cutler did. Although I will say that one of those interceptions could have and probably should have been pass interference. It's pretty sad when you throw 5 interceptions and still had a chance on the last play. I guess it was a fitting end to a dismal ball game.

I don't know that I had ever watched a complete game from him, but he is a big baby. He sat on the sideline and pouted the whole game with a pissy look on his face. I know he was having a bad game, but he doesn't act at all like a leader.

He was better earlier in the season and I think he was more of a leader then, but then leadership can kind of ebb and flow throughout a season depending on the confidence of those leading. The Bears have hit a skid the past few weeks and it seems like the wheels had come off, at least their defense showed up last night. It's too bad Cutler has had yet another bad game. I don't know what it is with Chicago and good quarterbacks losing confidence and turning bad.

I am not sure when it is, I think you might be right. I definitely think we use that pick for a qb. Next year could be a pretty good qb draft if everyone comes out.

Maybe you can follow Mel Kiper and CMBF from 2 months ago and pick Jake Locker! He is at least the 8th best QB in the Pac 10.

Jay Cutler would have been a Redskin, by the way, had the Dan and Crazy Vinny been able to pull it off. It wasn't a lack of effort on their part. It would have been just the latest example of way overpaying for someone who is not remotely worth it. Just noting this for the record.
