Favre has had a great game and is the toast of MNF. The NFL is just using this game to set up his return to Lambeau field later this year. I'm sure that game gets flexed for Sunday night football.

Soccermom and I are having a great weekend with our Bengals winning and Bret Favre having a killer game. -
This game is great for me because I have, on my fantasy team, Adrian Peterson, Aaron Rogers, Brett Favre and Chester Taylor. Rogers and Peterson are starting. I should have gone with my gut and started Favre, knowing this is precisely the type of game he goes off in, but Rogers has been decent.
However, in the real game, Rogers is getting murdered. 7 sacks?Awesomeness now has a name. Let me introduce myself.Comment

This game for me sucked. I have AP and he has done half of his projected stats. The lost fumble hurt. My opponent has Minnesota's defense who is killing Rogers. So now I will fall 2-2. What exactly was supposed to happen as a result of this game? There has been so much hype that I started to think that there may be some massive implications riding on the outcome.
Were the Packers supposed to realize that they never should have trifled with Brett Favre? Was the franchise supposed to collapse under the weight of the pressure? Or was something more impactful supposed to result from the one loss in the loss column?
When Favre returns to Green Bay, what is supposed to happen there? Some fans will boo. Some will cheer him. The end result will be a Loss for one of the two teams.

For a Packer fan, that was ugly. Green Bay had better get both lines figured out in a hurry, or it will be a long season.
In spite of running for his life most of the game, Rogers did have a pretty good game.
I tend to agree, right now Rogers is the better QB, but Farve still has something left.

Going into this game less than half a point separated me and FF opponent. I had Longwell kicking and AP. He had Minnie's defense and Jennings. So after cooling off in a game where the defense had nearly twice as many FF points as Adrian Peterson I can comment on this game.
Aaron Rodgers is good. He is really good. I'd argue he's a top 5 QB. In fact I may even put him in my top 3. What he does with that offensive line is remarkable. He is running for his life every play. If he had the protection Favre had last night he would have dissected that defense. They should have ran a lot more misdirection, draws, screens, etc to slow down that defense. Jared Allen was bringing it on every play, and they never did much to burn that pass rush. Conversely, GB kept dropping their best pass rusher Kampmann into coverage. WTF? That was like watching Hy-may Hill's use of Jorgensen.
For all of Favre's waffling, I am glad he came back if not just for that game. That game was masterful and awesome to watch. The throws he was making were ridiculous. I covet that kind of arm. The first TD pass he threw across his body to the other side of the field? Holy shnikes. The second while backpedaling?
That may be the greatest arm ever. Those were lasers he was throwing. I bet his receivers hands hurt. The Vikings are legit and bonafide contenders. Their defense is stout. They have the best running game in the NFL and now teams can't just key on stopping AP. They're going to be difficult to stop.
