Same wrist problem. He was going to sit 3 games and then be evaluated again.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

They should shut him down. Maybe he wants to play a few more games with a headband. Freedom has its privelges.

I think the nature of the injury indicates that he should, but he's mentioned several times that NJ didn't make a trade for him so he could sit. He can't move his wrist at all, which apparently is kind of useful for doing things like shooting jumpshots.

Did he say anything about wanting NJ to win more games so that Utah got screwed with the draft pick?

Thorpe's advice to our rookies on which veterans they should study.

We all know Afflalo is now considered to be both a top-flight wing defender and an excellent 3-point shooter. He has also added assertiveness to his mix and become better all-around because of it. But do you remember what he was like as a rookie after two years of college? In his first season, he made just 10 3-pointers and had a player efficiency rating of 10.07 and a true shooting percentage below 50.

Considering that Hayward has already made 19 3s, makes more than 40 percent of his 3s and has a PER of 8.44 (close to Afflalo's 8.95 PER in his second season), it's not a leap to think that Hayward can become an Afflalo-type player. He has the agility and length to be an excellent wing defender, once he grows into his body and adds strength.

He shouldn't focus on playing up to his lofty draft spot but rather on becoming the best player he can be. Afflalo was a bad player for his first two seasons, but if we did a redraft of the 2007 class, he'd be a surefire lottery pick.
Millsap turned an overweight body in college into a long and lean one in the NBA, and became much more athletic because of it. He also retained all of the nuanced craft that enabled him to be such a good player to begin with -- fakes, extension finishes and now an excellent perimeter shot that he employs with discipline.

Favors, who is more athletic than most players in the league, can learn a lot from his new teammate about how to use his physical abilities along with a more crafty game. He does not need to learn everything at once, so starting out with his post game is step one.

Afflalo is about example 1,345,235 why I don't get too worked up about a kid in his first or second year. There are a million different career arcs a player can take.

I saw that and I'm not sure the Afflalo comparison is the one I would make. Maybe Haywards role is to be that guy, but I really think his ceiling is a lot higher than that. Granted. Afflalo is a guy I would absolutely love on the Jazz, so if Hayward can be that type of player, I should be thrilled.

Yeah, I don't think it's the best either. I feel like he did something similar during the season, and the player he recommended at the time seemed more logical. Can't remember who it was, though.

With three minutes left in the first, Kevin Durrant has shot NINE Free Throws.

The three that he literally took advantage of Hayward for against his will were total bull. The next set was a borderline charge but of course he gets the call. Gotta love a good FT shooting contest.

11 ft's and not even half way through the 2nd quarter?

And once again, I had no idea the Jazz were playing tonight.

He had all 11 in the first.

CJ Miles is the recipient of more passes with less than 5 seconds on the shot clock than anybody else on the Jazz.

Every once in a while Al shows a move like that and you just say wow.

Jazz come back from being down 10 to tie it up, Thunder go on a quick 4-0 run.

Really wish Favors could play tonight. He's half my interest in the Jazz right now.

Is the other half Hayward? Cause that's pretty much how I feel.
