We're going up to Charlotte tomorrow to go to Costco, and we're going to find a restaurant with a good tv and watch the game there so the kids can get a feel for what it's like when people are really into the game.

I'm watching the game online through Univision at my office (I wanted to watch the Univision broadcast anyway even though I don't speak Spanish).
I'm not actually working, it's just that this is a better place for me to watch it right now. My wife's friend is rolling into town with her husband and three kids. I don't think she's seen this friend for 3-4 years at least. Of course they asked if they can stay in our place over night (I think they're going down to Disneyland). I'm usually okay with semi-random people staying in my house overnight. I'm used to it since my wife's family and friends treat our place like a motel, but overnight stays are fine I really don't mind.
As far as I knew they were coming in at around 8 this evening. My wife receives a call this morning at 9 and informs that they're, SURPRISE, 3 and a half hours away. So all of a sudden an overnight visit from strangers [to me] turns into a virtual all day event where I'm expected entertain and hang out with people I've never met in my life. With the game coming at almost the exact time when they're arriving, I wasn't thrilled and my wife knew it.
