So when are they playing overtime for the games today?

I wouldn't expect someone who enjoys ties to understand the sister kissing reference.

I don't think they have shootouts for group play, but once you get out of group play you can't just leave a match as a tie.

I enjoy watching soccer. It's a great sport.

Before my mission I didn't like it, but I learned to really appreciate the skill of those players. The more I understand the strategy of the sport, the more I like it.

I must confess I really like watching the World Cup and I have enjoyed the soccer matches I've seen in person, but mostly soccer is a once every four year affair for me.

Just watched the two games. Nice game between Mexico and RSA. Mexico looked better, but kudos to RSA. Uruguay and France was very sloppy.

Teams often fail to score in both baseball, football and hockey. Are you ready to throw them out too?

Would they fail to score if they had an extra guy? (I can't get into hockey either, so don't even go there)

Also, FWIW, I have yet to see a 0-0 tie at the highest levels of football and 0-0 ties are extremely rare in baseball after 9 (in fact, I don't remember the last time I saw a 0-0 score after nine) - if they happened as often as they do in soccer, yes, I would throw out that sport as well.
