"Say Hell-o to my little friend!"

I knew I wasn't going to keep up with all of the jackrabbit at the 2011 CUF ride riding my Rockhopper. So I figured I better pony up for a new ride:

"The first thing I learned upon becoming a head coach after fifteen years as an assistant was the enormous difference between making a suggestion and making a decision."

"They talk about the economy this year. Hey, my hairline is in recession, my waistline is in inflation. Altogether, I'm in a depression."

"I like to bike. I could beat Lance Armstrong, only because he couldn't pass me if he was behind me."

      Nice! Is that an allez?

Sweet ride, JIC. Get rid of those cages, though!

Very nice! You 'THINK" that you have "ponied up"....this is where the ponying up really starts!

That's a great bike, JIC. You'll be glad you took the plunge. If you haven't done so already, make such an experienced bike guy gets you sized up on it perfectly (seat height and position, handlebars, etc.); you'll be glad you did. I can't wait to see it disappear from view ahead of me in August.

Nice bike. Makes me that much more envious that I won't be around the TdCUF to eat your dust.

                    Awesome!
I think I may have told you this, but one of my favorite things about riding is that I can do it with my wife. For some reason, I don't worry about pace nearly as much on a bike and just have fun.

Congrats to Mrs. JIC. Can't wait to ride with both of you next summer. With any luck I will be able to talk Mrs. BG into trying it out as well.

Good job! Sounds like the CUF ride was a positive experience for all.

Jealous. I have been bugging my wife for years about riding with me. No luck yet.

Bring her to the CUF ride next year. That was all it took. She really had a great time there and wants to do the ride next year. Seeing the 4500-5000 calorie burn that everyone recorded helped as well

Great news, JIC. Mrs. PAC is equally pleased. If we can just reactivate BBB and 'sassinator, then with Bellavela we'll have an outstanding women's division next year. Plus central or southern Utah seems to have the early nod for CUF Ride 2012, making it a bit easier for her to join us.
