A part of me thinks that it could be a while.
The other part of me thinks that DS is right and the decision has pissed off some powerful Ute boosters who have demanded the ASAP continue ASAP. Unfortunately nothing could be done about 2016 without massive amounts of egg on Hill and Koward's face so the series will resume in 2017.Comment

The Utes are having an unexpectedly bad stretch -- understatement! -- and it will be interesting to see if the coaches and players can right the ship. I think the BYU game cancellation was an unforced error that probably did a lot of subtle damage by creating an unexpected and huge distraction.Comment

Utah takes the easy way out by ending BYU series

I think it’s an easy way to avoid a difficult game, and by that I mean Krystkowiak would rather play an opponent (at home, of course) that he knows he’s going to beat. I’d bet Krystkowiak would rather play Utah Valley or Sacramento State than deal with BYU. He wouldn’t be the first coach to do that and, sadly, won’t be the last.
As for me, I’m rooting for every Utah opponent because of this. Unfortunately, I couldn’t get Oregon State home last night as the Utes prevailed, but I was trying.
