THIS JERK IS STEALING MY TAKES!! I have been telling people on UB5 this for a year now. The Utah/BYU is a pressure relief valve. if the game is not played, the whole damn system will explode. I am talking Yellowstone Caldera scale eruption, folks. Even two years off in football was so risky that the football gods had to step in and make it happen in Vegas.

I realize that thousands of basketball players have been injured during games, but have any ever experienced a serious injury because of a brawl? Probably not. Maybe he should withdraw from the game altogether due to the rigors of landing correctly after layups, not getting scratched defending steals, ankle safety re: sudden changes of direction, the possibility of slipping and falling due to a wet spot on the floor... THE HUMANITY!!!

Its hilarious that this game is being cancelled for a punch (if you want to call it that. Its more of a swing of an arm) that landed in the chest area of Taylor for which he then flopped grabbing his face. The pussification of the Utes is priceless.

Says there is precedent for taking political action. Talked about Utah refusing to schedule Weber State in favor of other Big Sky schools since the Wildcats put the beatdown on the Utes in 2011. Calls it a symptom of an underlying, larger problem with Dr. Hill and Utah and the development of a disturbing pattern.

EDIT: Should the formula for distributing public money among state schools be reviewed with one of those schools now in the P12 receiving significantly more money and exhibiting arrogance and hubris.

This is funny because if there is one thing mormons cant abide it is uppity arrogance. Hill and K really stepped in it this time. What a bozo no-no move

No kidding. Just a laugh riot at Wally's house, I am sure.

The thing is this prima donna stunt confirms the view that BYU fans have had of the U and of Hill in particular. This move is vindictive, petty and cowardly, not to mention a breach of a promise. No matter what happens on the field or court, and no matter what trash talk is thrown out, the fact is Hill and K made this decision for no good or justified reason and in the face of all opinions. Like you said, not even SU can find lipstick for this pig. (or polish this turd, or something like that)

This is an unfortunate event that will leave the Utes with egg on their face and deprive fans of a good game. Unsurprisingly, the latter (the game) is of less importance than the former (finding someone to blame: Larry K, Chris Hill, Emery, Joseph F. Smith) to a good portion of both fan bases.
