    • Lol at SU bleating about the business end and the break even on the game that brings in the most money for your basketball program every year.

After listening to Dave Rose's interview, this is why he feels Coach Koward threw him under the bus:

      1. They cancelled a contract game.
      2. They cancelled a contract game at the last minute when it is very hard for BYU to find a filler to come to Provo. Normally, BYU's home game is the return game after going out onto the road.
      3. They cancelled a contract game after enjoying their side of the rivalry in a sold out Huntsman Center.
      4. They cancelled a contract game and blamed BYU for the cancellation.
      5. They communicated the cancellation by leaving a voicemail message for Dave Rose when they knew he was in practice.
      6. They played on shared history and got Dave Rose to sign the contract without a return date, something he never does. (No good deed goes unpunished)
      7. They played on shared history and got Dave Rose to sign the contract without a substantial penalty, something he never does. (No good deed goes unpunished)
      8. They signed the contract already planning on cancelling the return visit (which is why they wouldn't specify the return date)
      9. Coach Koward has interacted with Rose and spoken to him on many occasions, and never brought up the cancellation.

I still think Boylen was uncouth and boorish, but at least he is not a snake, and told Rose the truth about the series. I am curious about what Boylen thinks.

Just listen to the Rose interview. Rose's sincerity and honesty is so ringingly clear, it just emphasizes what a hypocritical snake Coach Wuss is. And how loathsome AD Hill is. It almost.. ALMOST makes me feel happy for Hill when he got screwed by Urban Liar. But not quite.

Hill is a piece of shit, and Koward is a snake and a liar.
"Guitar groups are on their way out, Mr Epstein."

Upon rejecting the Beatles, Dick Rowe told Brian Epstein of the January 1, 1962 audition for Decca, which signed Brian Poole and the Tremeloes instead.

This is bat shit crazy talk. Urban Meyer is the best thing that ever happened to Chris Hill. Until then Hill's poor stewardship of the football program had him on the hot seat. You're curious what doofus Boylen thinks of this? Lol. That was trolling me, right?

I'll wait another year to pronounce judgment on the petulant whiner, Coach KMxyzptlk, but he's doing super. As for the coaching chain that preceded him, I'll leave it to the unbiased to find the anomaly: Archibald, Majerus, Hunsaker, Rupp, Giacolletti and Boylen. I look forward to Utah's return to the norm.
I could make a similar list for USC football or UCLA or Kentucky basketball. Every great tradition has its downs. The greatness of a tradition is such because of the peaks, which inevitably bring the program back up following the downs.

                How about this:

Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

You're stretching if you want to count two interim coaches during the Majerus is absences.

If you truly are unable to draw the distinction than you really don't follow sports.

It wasn't done under the same set of circumstances (breaking a contract, putting the other school in a late scheduling bind, idiotic reasoning, etc.). Also, football scheduling is vastly different than basketball scheduling.

But I do recall you arguing that it was a great move and predicting that Utah would never stoop low enough to play BYU again. You never learn.
