Winder still shows the ball on layups leading to easy blocks, but the kid deserves a ton of props. He's shooting 56% from the field and 52% from 3pt land now. Averaging 13.5/4 off the bench. He's been great with the ball, bringing it up against pressure and giving KC a rest. He's improved drastically each year.

I love how he pushes it up the floor forcing a faster tempo. Great energy. He has been a nice surprise this year.

If this team had a back to the basket post player it'd be deadly. Worthington, Nielsen, Austin, Nixon, Sharp combined for 1 point tonight. 89 points from the backcourt. It's almost like losing Davies again. We just don't get anything inside and that is a real shame. But if we keep shooting like we do, this team can hang with anyone. And they'll be entertaining to watch.

With the jump Worthington made over the off-season, I can't imagine what Mika would look like this year.

The confusing aspect is Nate Austin was able to hit some shots as a freshman, but he has completely lost that ability.

Upon rejecting the Beatles, Dick Rowe told Brian Epstein of the January 1, 1962 audition for Decca, which signed Brian Poole and the Tremeloes instead.

Even still he is a face up player. He can't play in the post at all. Worthington is BYU's best offensive post player.

At this point, yes. It is rare for BYU to have a great guards or great bigs together. That is why losing Davies stings every time I think about it.

As long as we're imagining, I'll imagine a starting five of Mika, Jabari, KC, Haws and Fischer.

In a time frame, will Jackson ever figure into the mix?

In that time frame, I meant. Of course, Jabaris doesn't count but the rest of them do. Never mind, it was a completely make believe group.

Can you imagine if Mika hadn't gone on the mission? This would be a special team.

It would have been. Missions do BYU teams no service.
