Ole Miss ranks #122 on defense by Ken Pomeroy. BYU is undefeated this year against teams with a defense ranking below 99. SMC is #99 and beat us at their place when several key players for BYU were out or playing hurt. The next worse defense we lost to was Purdue at #69. Pepperdine ranks #35 and USD #56. The other teams we lost to this year: Gonzaga, Utah, SDSU are all top 25 defenses, with Utah and SDSU actually in the top 10. Teams that aren't good defensively don't beat this team.

I was shocked to realize that Dayton is a mere 10 hour drive from my current abode. Kids are on spring break...a family that watches BYU play together, stays together.

I don't know anything about Ole Miss, but it doesn't matter. If BYU knocks down the three, they will win. If they struggle from distance they will lose. Same goes for the game against Xavier and probably Baylor too if they get that far.

I think they can overcome bad Fischer as long as he doesn't shoot too much. Winder could be an X factor as well.

I don't read much other than I saw somebody note Xavier was badly rated as a defensive team, worse than 99. Or perhaps you were referring to Ole Miss. Thus, if you were referring to Xavier I wanted the numbers on Ole Miss.
