    And then there was one.

So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

I don't really care at all about BYU Hawaii athletics specifically, but it scares me to think that the church might someday get rid of athletics at BYU.

There goes the hope of college sports ever coming back to Rexburg.

I remember GBH saying how important the Jazz were to both the State and Church.

At some point in time I can see the powers that be deciding the Utes bring enough positive PR to the state and church and the hassle of college athletics at BYU is not worth the positive PR.

Is or was there a grassroots movement to get sports back?

That is probably because you didn't watch the Fiesta or Sugar Bowls.

Every member a missionary. Soon enough every member who is out in the world will be publicity enough.
"Guitar groups are on their way out, Mr Epstein."

Upon rejecting the Beatles, Dick Rowe told Brian Epstein of the January 1, 1962 audition for Decca, which signed Brian Poole and the Tremeloes instead.

Link to those bowl games bringing positive PR to the church?

Seems like every other season, some Ute brings their kid to the home game against BYU and gives the kid a sign to hold up that reminds everyone that the current Prophet is a Ute. That is a form of PR, imo.
