You just described why I feel Oregon has little to no chance against Louisville.
Well, the PAC is overrated as well
"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf
Florida Gulf Coast lost to Lipscomb, twice. They also played one of the toughest non-conference schedules in the country. @duke, miami, @vcu, @iowa st. @ st. Johns.
The only one of those games they won was at home against miami. They also lost to east Tennessee state, maine, Mercer, and stetson.

How'd the get Miami to come to their place? Miami is private, correct? So it wasn't some kind of Florida university system arrangement.

None of that matters one whit. What matters is how they are playing now. Their best players are sophomores, and the school has only been DI for two years (this the second). These players would have been given scholarships by Utah or BYU (I looke dup their recruiting profiles on ESPN). They appear to have been on a growth curve. That beeing said, I think Flordia will win big.
When a true genius appears, you can know him by this sign: that all the dunces are in a confederacy against him.
It appears as if FGCU averages around 7-8 alley-oops per game. A couple of them have been spectacular. They didn't just slip by in their first couple games, they dominated both teams.
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”
Yet your assertion, based on that single game is that they could. Interesting. JL must be smarting right now.
Ouch! Ouch! Ouch!

There's three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as a city; and never go near a lady's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock
I'll be honest, that video was looking great, but I could have used a little more nerf dunking.
