    Einar Nielson Fieldhouse

My dad always tells me about how Havilchek and Ohio st came to play there in the 50s. He also told me about all the games he used to go up there too.

Great article about the old place. I had heard they were going to renovate it and put women's bball and volley ball in there.

They should renovate it and have the men play there.

It would have to hold at least 9 k which would be double its old capacity

I think it would be kind of cool if they would play an exhibition game there. Don't include an exhibition game in the regular season-ticket package, have it be an exhibition game with only students there. So many of us have connected with the university because of our time there and also because of our parents and grandparents time there. Something like playing an exhibition game for the students at the Fieldhouse would connect them with the history of the campus. That's got to be a good thing.

Good idea. My dad played all 4 years in the Fieldhouse. I'd pay to go and see a game there.
