This title works in two ways.

    A. The Legend Rick Majerus Dies and there will be some sort of honor for him at the game.

    B. One of my favorite books about an Indian who is a champion bronc rider.

Wednesday Dec 5th 6:30 MST on the Pac-12 Network

Nice. I read that book 3-4 times when I was a kid. I loved it.

Going into the week last week, it seemed that SMU and Texas State were very similar. So it was interesting to see how we reacted to our first road test. In the end, we were inconsistent on the offensive end, but still played tough on the defensive end.

Listening to the first half on the radio of both games, it seems like the offense that was confused at SMU was able to find a semblance of itself against Texas State. It would appear that they were able to take the lessons learned against SMU and fix them against Texas State. I find this as another nugget of encouragement for me concerning the program.

This week, the competition steps up a bit more. Boise State's only loss was at Michigan State, and they went into Creighton and beat them. This seems like a quality team. It will be interesting to see how they react to the heightened competition. It would be really nice to compare what happens Wednesday with the game on Saturday against BYU, but the BYU game doesn't appear to be on television. What is the deal with the WCC TV contract?

I don't agree the competition steps up. SMU is better than Boise or BYU.

It's funny how thoroughly BYU and the Church own you.
At least the Big Ten went after a big-time addition in Nebraska; the Pac-10 wanted a game so badly, it added Utah

I think BSU will surprise you this week.

BSU is better than BYU (who is pretty down right now) or SMU (who despite their record, turn up really poorly on any objective measure).

SMU lost to Arkansas Little Rock. By 13. At home.

Frankly SMU's best win may be Utah.

The game was in Perto Vallarta

Bull. Shit. BSU has a road win against a ranked Top 25 team and took Michigan State to the wire on the road.
