    Utah vs. Idaho State

Starting right now on PAC-12 Network national channel. Part of the Utah Thanksgiving Classic Tournament.

That got me thinking, there should be a Utah Beehive Boot tournament at the ESA in November or December, have four teams out of USU, UVU, BYU, Utah, Weber State, SUU every year.

I've always thought it would be fun to have BYU, Utah, Weber, and USU play a 3 night round robin with 2 games each night, right before Christmas.
Will donate kidney for B12 membership.

Bachynski could be pretty good. Loveridge is going to be the best player since Neville.

Utah has plays coming out of the timeout? That's legal? I thought coming out of the time out you had to get a crappy shot off as the shot clock expires.

Why are the announcers asking Max Hall about a mission?

Yes. Solid second half. They haven't played against much zone and it showed in the first half. Washburn is going to be a role player the rest of the season. Bachynski is just that much better.

My son and I went to the game and after suffering through the first half I really enjoyed the second half. He kept suggesting what Washburn needs to do to be better. I told him just to forget it, Wash is what he is and this season will be spelling Bachinsky.

Random pleasant surprise: Dakari Tucker looks like he has a real future.

Our biggest contributors are freshmen and sophomores. I like that.

I'm looking forward to seeing what Dotson has to offer if he can get back and be healthy.

I liked Seymour's poise. He doesn't look like a freshman out there.

The difference between the way this Utah team played, compared to whatever Boylen's teams were trying to do (I never could tell), was like night and day.

I'm looking forward to the future.

No wonder there was a decent turnout tonight. The Southern California contingency was out in full force.

                          Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

I don't remember that. I do remember Utah nixing an effort by BYU to bring in two big time names to the ESA and play back-to-back. It would not have been a tournament. Probably a good move by the Utes given how badly their program has faltered since.
