33 today to go with 8 rebounds, 5 steals, and only 1 turnover. He kind of reminds me of when Jeff Green was at G-town, kind of the do-it all player for the team that was far more valuable to his team than some big scorers that get more publicity. Except Porter is a much better shooter than Green was and is better on defense too.
    He was really good today.

I have no idea how to feel about Carter-Williams.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

Leave it to Porter to have a career day against my Orange...on the last time the two will meet each other in the Carrier Dome in the Big East. And SMR, CJ Fair is fun to watch. He is very explosive yet allusive. I love his floaters and feathery touch around the rim. The fact that he is left handed throws a few off as well. The two kids from the Cuse that I am excited to see grow is Grant and D. Coleman. With CJ and MC-W returning and those to getting valuable experience in the off season I think that the Orange are going to be tough next year.

This Orange v Louisville game has been fun. 48-48 with a minute to go as I type this.

I'm not happy with the pronounced downward trend with scoring in college basketball. The NBA is slowly becoming a more attractive basketball viewing option.

I'm done watching the Orange. They have lost every time I watch them play.

Early departures to the NBA have been hurting college basketball for years. There simply aren't big numbers watching these regular season games.

It was nice to see tOSu beat Indiana last night and Michigan State earlier in the week. If they beat Illini and Indiana loses to Michigan, they will have a share of the Big Ten title..

Overall it was a rocky season but they turned it on...

The floor the MWC is using for their tournament is hideous looking.

Wow, what a crazy ending to the Charlotte-Richmond game today. Richmond was up 3 and decided to intentionally foul with 4.7 seconds left, but after the first on a one and one, the refs call a tech on a Richmond player for pushing while fighting for a rebound. After hitting all 4 FTs to go up by 1, Charlotte keeps the ball because of the tech, and Richmond has to foul again, but their coach goes ape shit and gets a double tech, giving Charlotte 4 more free throws on top of the 2 they were already getting. They end up hitting 4-6 and won by 5.

                    • L'ville's Russ Smith is an interesting guy as a NBA prospect. Too short, as a 6' SG, shoots atrocious percentages (40% FG, 31% pt), but is quick as hell, can score in so many different ways, is a playmaker on defense and a pretty good on ball defender, almost 7 FTs a game in just under 30 minutes per, and when you watch him he just looks like a damn good basketball player. Hard to overcome the size issue if he's such a low FG% guy, but my gut says he'll be a dangerous player off the bench, like Nate Robinson or Jason Terry for 10-15 years in the league.

Can someone let me know how the Orange do against GTown tomorrow night? The last BE tourney matchup. The Hoyas just spanked them in DC but the Cuse have reversed the trend and are coming off a hot shooting night. I like our chances.

                        • Honest question because I've not really paid much attention: will BYU get into the Dance this year?

You need to pay more attention.
                            Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

BYU has no chance of going to the dance this year.
