I don't understand how a Ute fan could be rooting for UNLV. For one thing, we have gone head to head with them recruiting just last season for several players.

But this would be sweet if Colorado won just because it would make cougjunkie look foolish. I notice he's been scarce since Rice's Rebs have tanked.

And how could you root against Carlon Brown. The kid has character, and he saw Boylen for what he was long before we did.

This doesn't surprise me so far. Colorado is flying high (I don't think the Buffs have ever won any kind of basketball championship) and UNLV has not been playing well. It lost the MWC tournament on its own floor.

EDIT: Also, the Buffs are a major and UNLV is a mid-major.

SU, I'm shocked and saddened you would cheer for Utah's bitter rival. Larry Scott, the man who took us from the mid-major wilderness, has revived what was once one of the strongest rivalries in the west. You're essentially spitting in his face by cheering for the team that beat us three times this year against one of our former conference brethren.

As for Carlon Brown, I wish he had played like he did for TEOH during his final year with Utah, but he was so inconsistent in 09-10.

Biggest of all, I couldn't stand having to hear their fans crow about another win. UNLV fans, so what.

I know it was with only about 2.5 seconds left, but I thought the end to the uconn loss was kind of classless on their part.

ISU was just trying to run the clock down with the ~13 point lead and uconn pressed them into corner at midcourt, forcing a 5-second call. When ISU went to pass, uconn stole the ball and ran it down court to go for a windmill jam (I think it was Lamb). The crowd booed, Lamb (?) missed the dunk, the crowd laughed.

2. UNC

Bonus - UCONN (I don't think they go too far but I hate them intensely)
