Just to clarify, this is the coach that is showing promise and turning stuff around, correct?
UCLA just has better talent and depth than we do. Not much you can do about that, except recruit, which we have to wait until fall to see if K has the tools to do that.

That said, it was still a better showing than any of the games in the Bahamas.

I don't remember Utah ever having Andre Miller bobble head dolls left over.

Only because they have never offered one. Funk may go to a game though if they did.

Unfair comparison. Utah was giving out Andre miller bobble head dolls to anyone with a higher SAT score than Dre. Of course there would be no leftovers.

His score was low because it is a racist test. I prefer not to celebrate racism for rivalry smack purposes, but to each their own. I didn't know that celebrating racism was a part of the high road.

                  Nailed it!

                  I love basketball!!

Two encouraging things from the box score:

                  1. George Matthews managed to chuck up two bad threes in his five minutes of court time, and ended up with one rebound to go with his one point. That might double his season output.

                  2. UCLA shot 59% from the floor, and 59% from the free throw line. I take from this that Utah's defense would have been just as effective had they stood completely still in two parallel lines on either side of the paint and watched UCLA shoot during every possession, rather than whatever the hell it was they were doing.
Odunsi had a breakout game. 9 points in Pauley isn't too shabby, even vs. the Bruins' ruins.

It is extremely impressive considering they haven't put in the basketball standards yet.

Andre got through high school without anyone realizing that he had some form of dyslexia, as I recall. Once he was able to incorporate different studying/learning techniques he was able to pass the ACT.

Has the ACT been corrected for it's inherent racism against dyslexics yet?
