IPU you know what they say about opinions? I have been on the Dave Rice bandwagon long before he became UNVs head coach or Utah went to the Pac12. You can keep responding to al of my posts by caling them trolls but you are only making yourself look like a jackass. I was not the one clamoring about how shitty a hire Dave Rice would be. Instead of constantly trying to call me out or trolling every time I post you could learn something by studying them and actually make yourself look like you know what you are talking about, for once.

Mike Moser the Sophomore UCLA transfer was a stud for Rice last night. The dude grabbed 18 rebounds, had 6 assists, knocked down a couple of 3s. Seems like he's an upgrade over Tre'von Willis because he does a lot more of everything out there.

Why can't Howland hang on to guys like Moser and Carlino? It's not like they are so good they couldn't use these guys.

The one exception I take with the premise of this thread is that UNLV beat UNC on a neutral court. I'm not saying UNC deserved to win, if anything I'm somewhat glad they lost a game like that because it gave them an experience that they needed to get better, but let's not for a moment think that the Orleans Center is truly a neutral court for UNLV. You could see the crowd was all wearing red and you could hear that distinctive "RE-BEL" chant throughout. Hell, they stormed the court at the end of the game.

that said, Rice was phenomenal his game plan to control Zeller and defend the key was impressive, not to mention the ball movement on offense.

Carolinans do not like Rice and wish he had gone elsewhere.

Good players leave good programs every year, especially in hoops. There are only 200 minutes per game to play, someone is always going to feel like they are getting the short end.

Rice is 7-0 with a win over number 1 North Carolina on a neutral floor.

Special K is 1-6 with a 3 point home win over San Diego Christian College and losses to Adams State, UNC-Asheville, UMass, Harvard, Boise State and Montana State clearly the who's who of college hoops.

Yes, the talent of the 2 is exactly the same so it is easy to make the call who is better this early into their career.

I'll say this much, although I hated the hire of Krysto, I'm willing to give Utah basketball another chance. Had the Utes hired Rice, I would have given up completely as it would have been a sign that they just simply don't care.

Just checked the UNLV roster. Not a single contributing player was recruited by Dave Rice. There are several seniors and juniors on the team. He was handed a team stacked with talent and is going a good job with a team stacked with talent. Kruger is a hell of a recruiter and gave Rice a ton to work with.

The 2011 recruiting class had one commit, a PG with no other offers, who isn't even rated on rivals.

The 2012 recruiting class has 3 commits: a 3 star PG (no other offers), 3 star PF, and a 4 star SG. Nice class but nothing overwhelming. It really isn't that much better than Krysto's class this year, and frankly Rice has a lot more to work with right now than Krysto. Now if he gets Shabazz Muhammad to commit, I'll be impressed. He has already lost one Bishop Gorman recruit to the Ducks, which is a bad sign with the huge in he has there.

I think someone is jumping the gun on proclaiming the greatness of Dave Rice.
