I really can't be too hard on you guys for acting the way you are, what with all the gut punches you've had to take for going on two years now. That can wear on a person.

SU called Harvard a good team and a rising power. I'm just following his lead.
      Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Well, you gotta take your victories where you can.

Maybe this should go in that other thread, but they clearly should have fired Boylen a year earlier, eh? I suspect this team will become a case study in what may happen when you don't have the nerve to pull the trigger on a struggling coach.

Are you trying to be ironic or something? Pretty sure nobody in the Ivy League has an athletic scholarship -- they are all walk-ons.

This team is terrible. Utah should feel fortunate that the Pac 10 is a shadow of its former self or else they could go winless in conference. They still might.

And now Watkins hurt as I type this. Ouch. I need to turn this game off. I am starting to feel sorry for you Utes.
Oh please, to say you don't know if Utah ever makes it back is beyond ridiculous.

The Pac-12 isn't nearly as bad as jealous BYU fans love to claim. It is pretty damn funny to see a WCC team talking shit on the Pac-12 a conference that consistently sends more teams to the dance, has more success in the dance, and always has a higher conference RPI. Utah will likely go winless in the Pac-12.

Hell, you should be more insulted if nobody noticed or mentioned PAC-12 teams losing to Fairfield, Cal-Poly, Middle Tennessee, etc. Of course the WCC sucks, that goes without saying.

We have come a long way from the days when we were P-R-I-M-O. I miss those days.

Missed the game. Watched a movie with the family instead. See I didn't miss much.

It's all we have currently. Memories of when we were relevant. And winning.

I never thought it could get this ugly. Never.

No need to feel sorry. You went through this. Programs have ups and downs.
We did go through this. The difference though is BYU's Church affiliation. It is what keeps BYU from being down for long (conversely it is also what keeps BYU from being great). There is always pool of LDS athletes available to BYU to draw talent from and build teams with. But what does Utah have to help them get back to being consistently good again?

Dude it was Ute fans who have told me that they don't think Utah will ever be back. Take issue with them.

And the Pac-12 is actually as bad as this jealous fan claims. They are abysmal right now. UCLA was supposed to be better but they have some terrible losses. Arizona was supposed to be the cream of the conference along with Cal. Arizona lost to Miss. State and then to SDSU. Cal just got drummed by Mizzou by nearly 40 points! Stanford is 5-0 but I bet they lose by at least 20 to Syracuse tomorrow.

Sure the Pac 10 is a proud conference with great tradition. But comparatively they are, as I said before, a shadow of their former selves.
