I'm curious as to how you know Utah could have had him as coach. Did he say he wanted the job or are you speculating?Originally posted by mpfunk View PostWe could have had him if we wanted him, but the genius that gave us Boylen and Giacoletti thought that Krysto was the better option."Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance and the gospel of envy; its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery." - Winston Churchill

Admittedly I haven't watched Utah much, but if what I saw today of Utah you call improvement, well, it may take years for you guys to get back.Originally posted by LA Ute View Postfunk, you and Portland are going to be vying for the Eeyore award. I've been watching the feed and the improvement in play is obvious. There's some pretty good evidence that Krysko can coach."Nobody listens to Turtle."-Turtlesigpic

If you had seen the earlier games you'd see the improvement. Yes, there's a long way to go, but that's not exactly a news flash.Originally posted by Surfah View PostAdmittedly I haven't watched Utah much, but if what I saw today of Utah you call improvement, well, it may take years for you guys to get back.“There is a great deal of difference in believing something still, and believing it again.”

What improvement? Improvement over the Boylen isn't enough. Boylen was so bad that most high school coaches would be an improvement and could make it look like we are running an offense out there. I agree the team looked better coached than a Boylen team, but that isn't enough.Originally posted by LA Ute View PostIf you had seen the earlier games you'd see the improvement.
So you are saying we might only be the 2nd worst team in D1 basketball not the worst? As I lead this army, make room for mistakes and depression

Montana State only lost by six at Arizona State. Maybe their ok. Maybe ASU is a team that ya'll could beat.Originally posted by mpfunk View PostWhat improvement? Seriously, it looked to me like they were playing much more intelligently, systematically and with discipline than in the earlier games I saw. That's coaching. Sometimes they simply didn't have the ability to stop an opponent. That's talent. It's not much, but it's reassuring to me that Krysko has some obvious coaching ability. The talent part of the problem is going to take a while to fix.“There is a great deal of difference in believing something still, and believing it again.”

Utah will have competition for suckitude in the Pac. The Pac looks bad this year. Arizona was supposed to be the banner carrier but they lost to Miss. State. This after looking terrible in the preseason. Also, UCLA is now 0-2 with losses to Loyola Marymount and Middle Tennessee State.Originally posted by New Mexican Disaster View PostMontana State only lost by six at Arizona State. Maybe their ok. I wonder if Montana St. feels good about the win or if they're waiting until they get to the Big Sky season where they'll see better competition before they judge themselves. So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.
