this is truly the saddest thing about tonight. My kids were singing "Teach me how to Jimmer" with their classmates today. Tonight they were yelling his name every time he touched the ball, it was fun. I'll miss that.
But the memories are forever. I wish all my BYU fan buddies here great and lasting memories from a great season. I was cheering for the Cougs. They have nothing to apologize for - they left it all out on the floor.

I knew we were in trouble when I forgot to put my lucky BYU shirt in the dryer last night. At least I can finally cut my hair...I gotta stop my superstitions

Fredette was an amazing college basketball player and well deserving of all the player of the year awards he is about to get.
I like about 98% of the BYU fans on this site and you guys deserved a season like this. Sweet 16 is always a great season even if it is somewhat bitter when it ends.

Yes they did. Every chance in the world to win and they came up short. Good news is at least they had the chance to walk through two inferior teams to get to this point.
The end of this season is very sad because it means no more Jimmer, who is the most fun basketball player I have ever cheered for.
Having said that, if Rose sticks around, and I expect him to, I think we will see BYU get back to the sweet 16 more than once in the next 6 years. I don't think we will see another player like Jimmer anytime soon, but that doesn't mean we won't see a better team.
