You guys should be cheering for BYU the rest of the way. Good for the WCC. Had gonzaga pulled of the major upset yesterday, I would have cheered for them the rest of the way.

I'm with you. Gonzoga is a nationally respected program that is consistently good. It will be fun to partner with them in the WCC. Also, despite the jocular ribbing seen in this thread, the fan base seems to be a pleasant bunch. The overall vibe on the GU board that I saw was one of respect and friendliness.

One thing the WCC will find annoying....so many BYU alum will pack their little gyms when the team goes on the road.

The BYU crowd was awesome. I feel good about next year even without Jimmer and Jax. Will we win 30 games? Nah, but we should have a good enough showing to do well in the WCC and compete for a 7-10 seed in the NCAA.

It isn't Gonzaga or St. Marys that I complain about when I lament independence/WCC. Thank God for Gonzaga!

This pic reminded me of watching Magnusson PF come out onto the court at the end of the game with his red solo cup in hand, as though he were simply lounging around enjoying the show.

No denying ... this loss hurts bad to the bone , especially after we bruised & bullied St. John's with such fine artistry ... however ... I'm still lovin' having you guys in the conference ... where you'll soon enough discover it's not as easy as it looks .

You bring tradition, honor, good sportsmanship and grit to the whole WCC village.

My heart will be riding along with you the rest of the dance ... this time.

I'm starting to feel a little better. BYU-Gonzaga is going to be fun. Also, if BYU can get (and I think they can) an OOC similar to Gonzaga, that would be great.

I love Logan in this pic - he looks like a snarling attack hamster. The red cup is a nice touch.

Looks like after this play is over Davies might pat his head and give him some cheese.

Looks like he took some flak from them earlier for being not-so-gracious.

Maybe with time, they'll come to hate us, but what a difference between this board and say...any board in the MWC. It'll be nice.

I don't have any problem with anything higherroad says here. They do own us, tradition-wise. And it looks like their future looks just as good as ours. It'll be a tough 2.5-team conference.

My anticipation for the WCC and especially Gonzaga has gone up tremendously the last few days. It will be fun. Hopefully both programs continue to have success.
