CCAA Men's National Championship

Well, I didn't get to see my nephew's team in Utah win the state championship and witness him earn MVP of the 4A state tournament but I have been able to watch my other nephew's team play in the Canadian Community College national championship here on my campus this past couple of days. His team, Lethbridge College, has made it to the championship game tomorrow night. They will play a team from Quebec. Go Kodiaks!

I imagine that I'm about the only person that can appreciate this thread is me.

But then again, I still call the place LCC. I know they dropped the "Community" several years ago.

Ya, I only reference the word "community" for the benefit of the Americans on the board.

The Lethbridge team is like a mini BYU ... full of a bunch of Mormon white boys who play tough D and can shoot mixed in with several non Mormon big guys. The Mormons from Lethbride have hit their stride—let's hope the Mormons from Provo hit theirs tomorrow afternoon!
