Excellent, another victory as I attended my required Sunday meetings.

Did the BYU crowd storm the court after the Cougars kicked the Utes' asses on their way out of the conference?

We beat the spread in our last conference game against BYU. We'll always have that.

Jimmer could've had a shot at Cuse if they didn't have Scoop and Flynn commit early. They had no need for another pg after that. Besides Jimmer wasn't even in the realm of those two guys as far as ratings went.

No doubt both of those were highly touted recruits. Jonny Flynn was 2 and out and to his credit is an NBA player (even though he is statistically the worst starting pg in the league) and Scoop was the real deal coming into Syracuse. He got himself into some trouble early on but has seemed to hit his stride. Some days I love Scoop, other days I can't stand him. Hindsight 20/20 I would have loved to be watching what Jimmer could do with Kris Joseph and Rick Jackson, this year. Oh what could have been.

I'm not entirely sure who that is, but I'm assuming it is Brady Poppinga. I agree that Boylen sounds like him. If it isn't and you are just posting something negative about Boylen, I still agree even if I'm not entirely sure of your point.

In short, I agree with all negative things posted about Jim Boylen.

1. I agree on Kupets. It did look like he was wearing eyeliner. That said, his energy was infectious. I liked his smiles and laughs and I didn't really notice him talking smack. He's a good looking kid when he smiles.


2. I agree with Boylen on limiting Jimmer to 12 points a half. That was the real victory. Let's face it--everybody wondered if Jimmer could hang 50 on the Utes and to limit him to less than his average, that's excellent.

Funk the play you keep complaining about with Emery is that the one where Collinsworth blocks the shot keeps it inbounds and they hit Emery on the outlet? He then has that high dribble but manages to finish the reverse layup?

Not sure what your complaint is a high dribble is 100% legal as long as you keep your hand on top of the ball. I watched it about 5 times (not sure if this is even the play you are talking about) but Emerys hand stays on top of the ball the whole time.

One other play that made me laugh was the backcourt where Emery may or may not have tipped it, Jiggy touches it in the front court and knocks it in to the backcourt. Even he thinks its a turnover grabs it dribbles once. Completely stops dribbling looks at the ref who gives the deflection sign and Jiggy starts dribbling again. Maybe the worst double dribble I have ever seen.

Yeah by golly, that is ~1.5 pts below his season average per half.

I think most of these rules are easily understood, they just aren't well known.
