I also had a great time. The New Mexico game was so good that even the game against SDSU couldn't dampen my spirits.

First night the UNLV fans sitting right in front of us were very vocal against BYU. I had some good fun until the two ex-Bishops I was with made peace with them. They still cheered against BYU.

UNM game at half time the most vocal guy turns around and says, "I have never seen anyone score 33 in a half, he is awesome." Rest of the way they cheered for Jimmer and BYU. They along with at least half the UNM fans gave Jimmer a standing O when he left the game. They were Jimmered.

Had a real good time playing with Shaka at Revere/Lexington on Friday. I am starting to come to grips with the fact I now am not so good at golf.

We also saw a lot of short skirts. Why do girls that are like 70 pounds overweight wear short tight skirts.

I didn't know you guys were playing The Revere. I played the Concorde Friday and The Lexington Saturday. Very picturesque course. I was playing with a good friend of mine, who made my play the tips <gulp>. Though I played better as the week went on, I'm not ready for 600+ par 5's and 240 Par 3's. At least I kept my score in the 80s both days though, unlike Wednesday.

I had a great time with Tick and DT on Wednesday. First time I had swung a club in 4 months and it looked like it. In fact, I stiffed both of them on the drinks I owe them. I promise drinks and lunch/dinner next time we are together.

As mentioned previously played with BYU71, his bro, and my buddy Dave at Revere. Unfortunately modern technology is incapable of tabulating my score. I hit one or two good shots so I'm happy. Unfortunately post golf tendonitis acted up in my foot and I was unable to play the next day with DT and Tick. I was mega-bummed. Oh yeah, some old hack stole my golf shoes.

The first game of the tourney I sat two rows behind what looked like three UVU dudes cheering for BYU. Unfortunately they were doing this weird high-five thing that involved the middle guy (who was shirtless) ramming his crotch into the butt of the guy in front of him (the guy in front ramming his butt backwards at the same time) while high-fiving the guy behind him backwards. Then the middle guy would stick his butt back high-fiving the guy in front of him while the guy beind him rammed his crotch forward into middle guy's butt. It was the most bizarre homo-erotic display I've ever seen at a sporting event. Unfortunately I said a little too loudly that their little high-five maneuver was gay and they took offense. Others in their group came to their defense and pretty soon there were all kinds of insults flying back and forth. I may or may not have said something about the center guy being both a pitcher and a catcher and nicknamed two of them Jake and Heath. I held my ground and was thanked by others around me. Fortunately they didn't repeat this action the next game. Seriously I've ever seen anything that lame at a sporting event.

I very much enjoyed the games. I was elated we could punk NM and avoid the season sweep. SD game sucked but when I realized how tired BYU was I felt a little better. I think BYU is in a better position in the tourney than SD.

In other news I ate a lot of Korean food near the place DDD, DH, and I grabbed Pho while back. My buddies and I then walked across the street and got foot massages. The foot massage place was sandwiched in between two other asain massage places that were a little less reputable. The foot massages were incredible and cheap. I'd definitely recommend the place to any of you. No they do not do happy endings.

Spent Saturday night in a cool bar at the Cosmopolitan. I guess it's supposed to be like hanging out inside a chandelier as there are ropes of beaded crystal hanging all over the place. I drank Red Bull while my apostate buddy hit up the Johnny Walker. Our drinks looked exactly the same so I didn't do a very good job avoiding the apearance of evil. If people watching is your thing I highly recommend it.

After the games Friday we hit up that Cafe Du Luxe (I think that is the name) inside the Venetian. We spent 2 hours people watching. I agree with BYU71 they need to put a weight limit on some of those shirt skin tight dresses. We got the full moon from a 250 pound chick. Awful.

            Random interactions at the MWC:

Chuck A's brother. Guy is huge. Spoke with him two different times. Much like Charles, he is soft spoken and nice.

TJ and crew: Didn't speak with him, but according to text from my friend during TCU game, "TJ is going to get his A kicked before tourn is over. Dude is yappin' non-stop"

Ed O'Bannon: Spoke with him a for a few seconds after opening Session on Thursday. Said. "Jimmer is going to have to step up or you guys will get run tomorrow". I did not ask him about purchasing a new car, as 3D wanted me to.

Robbie Bosco: I asked him where Thursday nights experience ranked in his all time BYU sports moments. He responded, "pretty high. One of best ever for basketball"

Tall girl from BYU Women team: No conversation, but stood next to her just to see how tall she is. Girl has to be at least 6'6", with 80% of it being her legs.

            Doug Flutie
: Saw him from a distance. Didn't get the chance to ask him how it felt to get most mileage ever out of a single lucky throw and catch.

John Haddow: Reportedly in the building, but I was unable to find out what size TV he currently owns.

            Jerry Tarkanian
: Had to be woken from his early evening nap and be told he was on big screen.

Dayton YO: Send me mean texts, repeatedly. Not a nice person.

            Luke Staley:
Guy has gotten big. Has exact same haircut as 10 years ago.

            Jeremy Guthrie's Older Brother.
I hung out with my old intramural basketball buddy all weekend. Unfortunately, he kept trying to mooch free golf and seat upgrades from me and didn't get his younger bro to score us a suite for the tourney.

Tick, Drunktank, HFN, Donut, Clark Addison: 3 of those are really good guys. The others are sketchy at best.

Flutie was about 6 rows in front of me.

Marshall Faulk was close to Flutie.

Stacey Augmon I asked him if he thought he could check Jimmer. He just smiled.

Charles brother- you are right dude is huge.

Danny Ainge- needs to call Keith Hernandez and get some product.

Larry Johnson was in the building never saw him but Tick did.

Tyson Griffin MMA fighter saw him at the venetian.
