For those who haven't been to the MWC, you should go. I always have a ton of fun and almost always see some fantastic basketball. As I mentioned in another thread, don't believe that there aren't tickets available. There are tons of tickets, just not reserved lower bowls. Scalping is not only readily available, it is almost encouraged. Bottom line- saddle up and come ride along with Jimmer one more time.
CMBF posted a nice breakdown of possible scenarios effecting BYU. If BYU doesn't win in San Diego and can't capture the #1 seed, we need to be rooting very hard for UNLV to finish behind CSU for two reasons. 1) Opposite side of the bracket and has to face SDSU in semis. 2) The would play the Thursday early afternoon game - the TMC is lifeless for those games. In fact there will probably be as many fans from other schools collectively as UNLV fans. It really negates the Rebels home court advantage.
If UNLV makes it to Friday versus SDSU or BYU and especially if they are playing on Saturday, the arena turns into a 2 hour marathon chant of Reeeeeee buuuullllls. Unfortunately, whatever team BYU is playing ALL the opposing schools start cheering for. I expect to see a lot more blue this year, though
