Ohio State should have made that stat 2-9. They were fortunate to pull that game out.

BYU #8 in the AP and #9 in the Coaches. SDSU is #7 in the AP and #8 in the Coaches poll. Both USU and Arizona also ranked in both polls this week.

St. Mary's dropped out but are on the cusp. UNLV also creeping back up.

The skeptical, rational mind presumes BYU is the same as always unless proven othewise. BYU has needed to maintain an aura of traveling on a beam of light. Losing to New Mexico killed that aura. It will take its toll on the seeding unless BYU can win out. Lingering doubters will note the weak conference and that Jimmer scores too many points.

I am talking about seedings, the long view.

Ok. So before the New Mexico game what would you have predicted BYU's seed? And after the New Mexico game? Same questions for Duke before and after the SJU game.

My hypothesis was correct....Jimmermania has an inverse relationship with SeattleUte's participation on this board.

For you academics on the board, what do I have to do now to get this thing published?

Find the American Journal of Jimmerism, or some similary obscure publication, send them a pdf, then presto your a published author. Don't forget to add the fact your published in a "major academic journal" to your CV and email tagline.
