Wildly inconsistent refs tonight on both ends. Probably even for both sides but I'm not sure the players ever felt like they knew how to play.

Wow that was seriously the worst announcing and the most blatant homerism I have ever seen. Steve Brown was absolutely atrocious and was clearly pulling hard for Weber St. Sadly he was not trying to cover it up at all either. At one point he even started questioning Jimmers abilities and trying to point out all sorts of deficiencies in his game.
Then he makes the guys in the booth show a replay that was completely insignificant and he whines for 5 minutes until they show it. When the video shows that the Weber guy was clearly not fouled, he says well Davies turned his body so I think there was some "upper shoulder contact".
He is effing horrible and the fact that he somehow has a job in any market is embarrassing.
With that being said I think its evident that Emery needs to step his sorry ass game up. His shooting has been atrocious. Jimmer was Jimmer as usual. Davies had a nice spurt with some great post moves but then disappeared for the remainder of the game.
Weber could not miss from 3 and played hard. No such thing as a bad road win in college hoops. BYU finally after a month away from the Marriot Center returns home thursday.*Banned*Comment

The refs blew. There was a stretch in the middle when Jimmer took about five shots - foul - foul - foul - foul - foul. No calls. All on calls he ALWAYS gets.
And one of their big goofy white guys (as opposed to our big goofy white guys) cuts from the wing, catches the ball about 17 feet out and lays it in - without a dribble. Ummm. Yeah...Comment

Jimmer pulled up to avoid contact. That should have been a no call.
Winning on the road in basketball is tough. Bad shooting nights happen.

K Collinsworth can't shoot the 3 but knows how to play. Charles apparently does not.
Again, why did he start?
Jackson is a steal machine, but nothing but a 3 point chucker on offense.
I really like both Collinsworth boys. If they don't want to start Jackson, I'd even consider starting C Collinsworth at the 3 if he could figure out how to hit a jumper. Hopefully he can get more minutes at the 4 because he is so much more active than Hartsock. Look at the stats, and especially the per 30 minute stats for our big men:
