This Ohio State - Wisconsin game reminds me of BYU's debacle at The Pit.

Ohio State had a 15-point lead just like BYU had a 13-point lead in the second half and then it all went to crap.

Helluva rebound and shot by Sullinger there.

I get that the Big East is loaded with talent. And top to bottom they're tough, but sometimes I think there is more perception than substance there. I also think the number of teams they have and not playing a round robin schedule helps protect their better teams.

Texas is undefeated in the Big 12 and hasn't had a close game. But 2 of its 3 losses have been at home against Big East teams. Texas would be middle of the pack in the Big East.

But go ahead and hate the Big East. You guys have absolutely no reason to be objective in your assessment.

Wow, Big East officials are as poor as MWC officials. They've let this game get out of hand and have missed lots of calls as this game has gotten very out of control and chippy. Now trying to reign it in with silly techs.

I will say this about St. Johns, Lavin was a great hire. And his hiring of Keady was genius. Let Lavin recruit and be the face while Keady coaches from the bench during games. St. Johns is going to be a force for years to come as long as Keady is there IMO. Lavin brings a different style of game than the Big East is accustomed to. And I think it's a breath of fresh air compared to a lot of the half court power games (read boring) in the Big East.

In other news, AFA has a 7 point lead on SDSU with 4 and a half to go in the first half. Typical scrappy AFA team going deep into the shotclock from what I've seen, although I turned on the game late.
