WCC to have 30 games on ESPN2/U in 2010-11

    WCC to have 30 games on ESPN2/U in 2010-11

    Interesting look at the broadcast schedule for the WCC. What I find most interesting is that BYU is not listed anywhere in this schedule. I don't know what that means.

    Apparently this is up from 20 or so this year.

    Probably because byu starts play in the WCC in the fall of 2011 for the 2011-2012 season.

      I think it means we are still in the MWC for the 2010-2011 year.

        BYU exits the MWC for all sports beginning in June of 2011.

              What IS interesting (and what highlights the benefits of this crappy conference we're switching to) is that BYU is the only preseason top 25 team with no ESPN games. Gonzaga has what...13?
              At least the Big Ten went after a big-time addition in Nebraska; the Pac-10 wanted a game so badly, it added Utah

                yeah . . . kind of missed the date thing. oh well, I guess it's good that the WCC is getting more games this year, which likely means it will get at least that many next year, if not more.

                Maybe the WCC will turn out to be a good move for exposure of our b-ball program. I just hope that we're good enough to challenge for, if not win the conference tournament our first year. You know, 2010-2011.

                    Based on the info in the link, you must not like the Pac-10 since it has only regional or no TV coverage while the WCC has 30 nationally televised games. Sucks to be U.
