The way Mika jumps, he'd be equivalent to a 6'8 Jared Jensen at about 6'2. So that's a good thing. I'm high on Mika. I'm just not sure how much he'll have to adjust his game. He overpowers the crap out of shorter guys at the high school level. But he's been doing well against all these national teams that likely have tall centers. I'd like him better if he wasn't leaving for a mission after a year.

Assuming he's 6'8", I understand your point about his potential impact probably being lesser, but what kind of rebounder will he be? A lack of height/length will make it harder for him to have an impact defensively and offensively, but if he comes in and dominates on the glass (6'8" is plenty to be a great rebounder at the D1 level), he can still have a major impact as a freshman.

I remember thinking that Utah had hit its Nirvanna in 2004-2005. With the BCS bowl, sweet 16, John Wooden Trophy and two top draft picks it was spectacular but the cherry on top was that the inept BYU hoops team was led by Austin Ainge. I thought how cool would it be to pile on your rival at a time when the best player on their bad team is the son of your most hated competitor. I thought it couldn't get any better for the Utes. I guess I was right. It didn't get any better and many more of those offspring came along and many more of them are much better than Austin was!

The average human head is 8.6 inches from the chin to the top of the head. Emery is listed at 6'1". That would make Mika 6' 9.6". Santos is way off.

I just watched the clip about LP and they said Mika is 6-10. I know those numbers can be inflated, but that came from either Emery or the coach (can't remember which), not a press guide. Any chance he's actually that tall?

Came from Lewis. I can see him exaggerating an inch or two, but not from 6'7" to 6'10". If Lewis says he's 6'10", I'm thinking he's got to be at least 6'8" or 6'9".

He's 6' 170 lbs. I've stood next to him.

1. Nick Emery top of head coming to Mika bottom of chin in a moving video without a clear perspetive.
2. Avg human head size
3. Nick Emery being 6'1.
