Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!
For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Maybe chandler ends up at BYU next year
We could always use the bench depth.
"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

DePaul the only one from a high major conference. I wonder what that means. Maybe they were avoiding higher profile teams and games.Originally posted by myboynoah View PostNo Mrus (so far). But here is the list of schools:

I noticed that, too. Maybe one effect of NIL/revenue sharing is that high major players have more to lose than to gain now.Originally posted by BlueK View Post

AJ's the Big 12 Freshman of the Year so no surprise he's on the All-Freshman Team, and it's a great one:
All-Freshman Team
Brayden Burries, Arizona*
Koa Peat, Arizona
AJ Dybantsa, BYU*
Kingston Flemings, Houston*
Darryn Peterson, Kansas*
'
That team would probably win the Big 12 and go deep in the tournament. Reminds me ("Gather round yung uns!") of the UCLA freshman team in 65-66 that consisted of Lew Alcindor (pre-name change), Lucius Allen, Lynn Shackleford, Kenny Heitz, and Kent Taylor. Freshmen couldn't play varsity back then, but they did okay as freshmen, winning all of their 21 games by an average of 50+ points and defeating the UCLA Varsity, which had won the previous two NCAA titles, by 25 to start the season.

I haven't heard much complaining nationally over what the committee did this year, which is hugely different than with the football committee. Probably what helped is that they did pretty much nothing unexpected. The bracket matrix got the seeds almost exactly the same this year as the actual. I think there were less than five teams that they had off by just one seed, which is practically nothing.
