Time to start a thread for this season.

The Alex Jensen season continues to flounder as Utah loses by 10 or so to Grand Canyon. In fairness, Grand Canyon is pretty decent recently.

That was a tough game to watch, so I stopped after halftime. Neither team seemed very good at scoring.

I noticed that Ausar (key to their beating us last year in the dumpsman) is at USC this season. He scored around 25 the other night.

Continuity hurts all teams in this new era, but did uofutah retain any players from last year?
    Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

I hear Grand Canyon is a pretty deep team this year.

I believe opinions on Grand Canyon vary widely.

That was a surprise. They may actually win a few games during the conference schedule.

Gonzaga got curb stomped by Michigan. That team is scary.

I feel like we were in the running for Lendeborg. Like as close as his second choice. Am I making this up?

i feel bad for Mark Pope. nearly nine minutes into the game and Kentucky trails Gonzage 19-2. The Wildcats have yet to scora a single field goal. ESPN2 if you're like train wrecks.

I definitely don’t feel bad for him. He’s making generational wealth and, even if fired this year, he’ll land at some mid-tier D1 school and continue to have a successful career. He wanted the brightest lights in college basketball and he got them. It’s kind of a cautionary tale for Kalani and the Penn State job. If Pope had stayed at BYU, he’d likely have continued to have success and BYU fans would be happy. As it sits, BYU is having more success without him and BYU fans are ecstatic. .

In truth, I don't feel all that bad... His leaving BYU turns out to have been one of the best things that has ever happened to BYU Basketball.

                              Yeah, that's a parody account.

But he is definitely on the hot seat.
