ESPN rates him no. 6 in the class. He's a 5*, 6'7" SF. Here's his announcement video and it's pretty touching as he talks about his mom and little brother. Seems like he'll be a good fit culture-wise at BYU. I love seeing the three of them in BYU jerseys. Great job, KY!

Just busting your chops. I had forgotten, so it was a good reminder.

Yeah, this kid seems really cool. A good kid, loves his mama, talked about respecting others. A funny couple of swipes at his younger brother lol. Being from Gilbert, AZ, I am sure Bruce has a working knowledge of Mormons, which is good.

Also, his mom is almost as tall as he is! She must be 6'3". I wonder where Bruce Branch, Jr. is.

I think Bruce Branch is a good pickup and hopefully a building block for next season. How KY builds his roster for next year will be interesting given how this year transpired. I tend to think continuity is a benefit and a worthwhile goal in college basketball. BYU has many players on its roster that could return for next year but some, perhaps many?, are likely going to enter the portal. While there are players I hope are on the roster next season for various reason those who belong to the "he will be missed" category are honestly few. Those I would prefer are back next year are: Wright, Mboup, Kostic, Diomande, Staton, Abdullah, KJ Perry. It won't break my heart if others return or if they leave. It will take a while to work itself out and both the portal and the larger roster size make for an exciting time in the spring where hope springs eternal.

Rumors are that Wright is likely gone. He is asking for a fortune.

Would like to have Mboup back for sure. And Dawson Baker. And Kostic maybe. Don't care one way or the other on the rest.

Rob has been great, but I can see him moving on. I don't think he's an NBA guy, so he needs to make his money now.

Mboup is good, still rough, but showed lots of promise and improvement as a freshman.

                        Dawson Baker medically retired, no?

Kostic has been.... underwhelming. So has Diomande.

Is Kennard Davis leaving? He could make a big jump next year as a Senior.

Dawson Baker did not participate in senior night. That signaled to me that he is coming back for another season.

I believe this is correct. I don't know where the medical retired thing comes from. He popped his ACL. These days you can come back from that.
